Full Version: Ribble Leopard 625 found in Ireland

Ex Ribble Weymann bodied Leopard number 625 has been discovered in Midleton,nr Cork,Ireland.

This is the first report of it since its sale by Ribble in Sep 1981 when it was sold to PVS then passing to Kirkby Kingsforth (dlr) the following month.

A bit of paint and a tank of fuel and it'll be ready to go! Big Grin
The chassis looks to be in a similar condition to 672!
could we rescue it? Sad

No, I wouldn't recommend trying. We have 465 from the first batch (Marshall rather than Weymann but very similar.) We also have 494 as a donor to help 465's restoration when we can get round to it. Better to leave it to others or let it rust gently away.

If only there were some other Ribble Leopards left in scrap yards!
Might it be worth rescuing some parts? The front and rear fibreglass domes look in decent nick. The doors and interior parcel shelves too?
