Notes:When new this bus had a Burlingham body. the war took its toll on these bodies and in 1949 it was rebodied with an Alexander7' 6"wide body. It seems to have spent most of its life at Skerton (Lancaster) depot but was also to be found at Preston(Selbourne St) , Morecambe and Blackpool Talbot Road depots. It was sold to dealer Millburn Motors of Preston in 1960, then it was used as a staff bus by Benefit Shoes ,Leeds from 4/61 to 1/68 when it passed to local dealer North's of Sherburn-in-Elmet . In December 1969 it was purchased by Dr Harold Peers of Otley for preservation. By May 1970 it had been repainted into Ribble livery and started appearing at bus rallies. A photo of it at the Stratford-on-Avon rally can be found here . Harold then used it extensively to transport all his sales stock to rallies in the North of England , before selling it to two RVPT trustees in 2005.

It was then dispatched to Preston Bus who gave it an external repaint and applied period adverts. In 2006 it underwent a full internal refurbishment (repainting, rewiring & re-moquetting the seats) making its first appearance at our Carnforth Rally.
